Ingredients
  

  • For the Bread Base
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • For the Filling
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 4 slices pepperoni optional
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • For the Topping Optional
  • Parmesan cheese sprinkle
  • Fresh basil

Method
 

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. Layer cheeses, sauce, and toppings on unbuttered side.
  3. Grill butter-side-down until golden brown, 3–4 mins per side.
  4. Check for bubbling cheese and golden crust.
  5. Cool 2–3 mins, then slice and serve.
