Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 400 g pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Filling / Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • Topping
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in butter and heavy cream, letting the sauce simmer gently.
  4. Add parmesan cheese and herbs, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  5. Toss pasta into the sauce and mix until fully coated. Garnish and serve.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Add pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor.
