Ingredients
  

  • Chicken Base
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Parmesan Crust
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs panko
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Coating
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Cooking
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk in one bowl. In another bowl mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, and spices.
  4. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place on baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil or butter, and bake 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  6. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
  • Panko breadcrumbs create a crispier crust.
  • Can be prepared ahead and baked later.
