Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Filling
  • 2 cups ground beef
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 4 cups broth
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Topping
  • ½ cup cream
  • ½ cup cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley

Method
 

  1. Heat oil and sauté onion and garlic.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in peppers, tomatoes, and broth.
  4. Add seasoning and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Mix in rice and cream, cook 5 minutes, then serve.

Notes

  • Add rice at the end for best texture
  • Adjust thickness with broth
  • Can be made dairy-free
  • Tastes better the next day
