Method
 

  1. Season beef with salt, pepper, and flour.
  2. Brown beef in a skillet with olive oil.
  3. Add vegetables to the slow cooker.
  4. Place beef on top and pour in broth and seasonings.
  5. Cook on low for 7–8 hours until beef is tender.

Notes

  • Beef chuck creates the most tender stew texture.
  • Add peas or green beans near the end of cooking.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months.
