Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • Sauce
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Topping
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup bell peppers
  • ½ cup mushrooms
  • ¼ cup olives
  • ¼ cup red onion
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Add warm water and olive oil to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise for 45–60 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough into a round pizza base and place on a baking tray.
  4. Spread sauce evenly and add cheese and toppings.
  5. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze slices for up to 2 months.
  • Don’t overload toppings to keep the crust crisp.
  • Garlic butter brushed on the crust adds extra flavor.
