Method
- Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
- Roll out dough, add sauce and toppings.
- Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
Notes
- Dough can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
- Freeze dough for up to 3 months.
- Bread flour can be used for extra chewiness.
- Rest dough if it shrinks while shaping.
