Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 ¼ cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Sauce
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup pepperoni or vegetables
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil optional

Method
 

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover and let rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
  5. Roll out dough, add sauce and toppings.
  6. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden.

Notes

  • Dough can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze dough for up to 3 months.
  • Bread flour can be used for extra chewiness.
  • Rest dough if it shrinks while shaping.
