Ingredients
  

  • Base Pizza Dough
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Sauce
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Toppings
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20 –25 pepperoni slices
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • Fresh basil optional

Method
 

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix into a dough and knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
  4. Roll the dough into a pizza base and place on a baking tray.
  5. Spread sauce evenly, add mozzarella, and top with pepperoni.
  6. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

  • Dough can be refrigerated overnight before baking.
  • For crispier crust, bake on a pizza stone.
  • Add vegetables or different cheeses for variation.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
