  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Chicken
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Filling & Toppings
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 4 cheese slices
  • Pickle slices optional

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Grill chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  3. Butter the buns and toast them lightly in a skillet.
  4. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, and lemon juice to make the sauce.
  5. Spread sauce on bread and layer lettuce, chicken, cheese, tomato, and pickles.
  6. Close sandwich and serve warm.

  • Store cooked chicken in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Toasting the bread prevents the sandwich from becoming soggy.
  • Add avocado or bacon for extra flavor.
