Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 1 large French bread loaf sliced lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sauce
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • Toppings
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and place sliced French bread on a baking sheet.
  2. Brush bread with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  3. Bake for 5–6 minutes to lightly toast.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bread.
  5. Add mozzarella, parmesan, and toppings.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.

  • Toasting the bread first prevents sogginess.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
