Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts about 400 g
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • For the Sandwich Base
  • 4 sandwich buns or brioche buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 4 cheese slices optional
  • For the Creamy Sauce
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked.
  3. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes then slice.
  4. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt to prepare the sauce.
  5. Toast the buns lightly.
  6. Spread sauce on buns and layer lettuce, sliced chicken, tomato, and cheese.
  7. Close the sandwich and serve warm.

  • Store cooked chicken in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Use grilled or rotisserie chicken as an easy substitute.
