Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 teaspoon salt for pasta water
  • Filling / Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Topping
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Extra grated parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta until tender. Drain and set aside
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant
  3. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently until warm and slightly thickened
  4. Stir in parmesan cheese gradually until the sauce becomes smooth
  5. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce until evenly coated
  6. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan before serving

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
  • Add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein
  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best texture
  • Reheat gently with a splash of milk
