Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 1 kg chicken pieces
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Filling / Coating
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • For Frying
  • 3 –4 cups vegetable oil

Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk, salt, and pepper for at least 1 hour.
  2. Mix flour and spices in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken piece in the seasoned flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry chicken pieces until golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Let rest briefly before serving.
