Ingredients
  

  • For the Pasta
  • 300 g spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • For the Salmon
  • 400 g salmon fillet
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika optional
  • For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 100 g grated Parmesan
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Season salmon and sear until golden and flaky.
  3. Melt butter, sauté garlic, add cream and Parmesan; simmer until thickened.
  4. Toss pasta in sauce; adjust with pasta water if needed.
  5. Fold in salmon, top with lemon zest and dill, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store pasta and sauce separately for best results.
  • Add vegetables or herbs for extra flavor.
  • Avoid overcooking salmon to keep it tender.
  • Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water.
