Ingredients
  

  • Pasta Base
  • 300 g pasta
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Mushroom Filling
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 250 g mushrooms sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup pasta water
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente and reserve some pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet and sauté mushrooms until golden brown.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add cooked pasta and pasta water, tossing until evenly coated.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Add milk or cream when reheating to restore the sauce texture.
  • You can add chicken, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Fresh parmesan cheese improves flavor and texture.
