Ingredients
  

  • For the Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1–2 lemons
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional Toppings
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Extra Parmesan
  • Red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and toss with olive oil.
  2. Sauté garlic in butter until golden.
  3. Add cream, lemon zest, and juice; simmer 2–3 minutes.
  4. Toss pasta in sauce, gradually adding Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, garnish, and serve.
