Ingredients
  

  • Pasta Base
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • Shrimp
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Cream Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup pasta water
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Garnish
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Extra Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Heat oil and butter in a skillet and cook shrimp with garlic and spices until pink.
  3. In the same pan, add butter and heavy cream and let simmer gently.
  4. Stir in Parmesan, seasoning, and pasta water until smooth.
  5. Add pasta and shrimp and toss until coated in creamy sauce.
  6. Finish with lemon juice, parsley, and extra cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Add milk or cream while reheating to restore texture.
  • Swap shrimp with chicken if preferred.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
