Ingredients
  

  • For the Pasta:
  • 3 cups dry fettuccine or penne
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • For the Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg optional
  • For Garnish:
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • ½ cup toasted breadcrumbs optional
  • Lemon zest optional

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and drizzle with oil.
  2. Melt butter, sauté garlic, then stir in cream, cheese, pepper, and nutmeg.
  3. Combine pasta and sauce, tossing gently.
  4. Add parsley, breadcrumbs, or lemon zest; toss lightly.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite side.
