Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 4 slices white or sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • Filling
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • Optional Topping / Flavor Boost
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • Pinch black pepper

Method
 

  1. Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place two slices butter-side down in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  3. Layer cheddar, mozzarella, and cream cheese on top of the bread.
  4. Place remaining bread slices on top with butter side facing up.
  5. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
  6. Let rest briefly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use medium-low heat to melt cheese evenly.
  • Let sandwiches rest before slicing to keep filling intact.
  • Swap cheeses for Gouda, Swiss, or Monterey Jack.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in a skillet.
