Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast
  • Filling / Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Topping
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Optional crushed red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add cream and chicken broth. Simmer until slightly thick.
  4. Stir in chicken and pasta and toss to coat.
  5. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for variation.
  • Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.
  • Add a splash of milk when reheating to restore creaminess.
