  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 2 cups cooked pasta or rice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Creamy Filling
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Topping
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  2. Combine cooked chicken, pasta, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the baking dish.
  4. Melt butter and sauté garlic in a saucepan.
  5. Stir in flour and cook briefly.
  6. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and cream until smooth.
  7. Pour sauce over the casserole base.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and breadcrumbs on top.
  9. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  10. Rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
