Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Topping
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until tender and drain.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce and seasonings, then simmer briefly.
  4. Spread pasta in a baking dish and top with the beef mixture.
  5. Add sour cream evenly across the dish.
  6. Sprinkle cheeses on top.
  7. Bake until the cheese melts and becomes golden and bubbly.

  • Freeze the baked casserole for up to 2 months.

  • Freshly grated cheese melts best.
