Ingredients
  

  • Base / Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Sauce
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Toppings
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup pepperoni
  • ½ cup mushrooms
  • ½ cup bell peppers
  • ¼ cup olives
  • Fresh basil leaves

Method
 

  1. Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then mix into a soft dough.
  3. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let dough rise until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out dough, spread sauce, add cheese and toppings.
  6. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden.

Notes

  • Dough can be refrigerated overnight.
  • For crispier crust, bake pizza on a preheated pizza stone.
  • Add extra herbs for deeper flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 3–4 days.
