Ingredients
  

  • Pretzel Crust
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • ¾ cup butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Cream Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Strawberry Layer
  • 1 package strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced

Method
 

  1. Mix pretzels, butter, and sugar and press into a baking dish.
  2. Bake crust for 10 minutes and cool completely.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar, then fold in whipped topping.
  4. Spread cream mixture over cooled crust.
  5. Mix gelatin with boiling water and add strawberries.
  6. Pour gelatin mixture over cream layer and refrigerate until set.

Notes

• Allow crust to cool completely before adding cream layer.
• Seal edges with a cream layer to protect the crust.
• Chill for several hours before serving.
• Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
